The suburb of Higgovale has some of the most spectacular views from its situation on the slopes of Table Mountain with wonderful little roads that run at tangents to one another in a bid to make it up the steep slopes on which many homes here are housed.
Despite being perched above the city in this fashion, getting into its centre is merely a case of setting the car in neutral, if your brakes are in order. You're only minutes away from Kloof Street and the many bistros and quirky shops, and Table Mountain National Park is literally on your doorstep.
Life on the slopes is sedate and quiet and most homes look out over the city and Table Bay, almost around the mountain to Hout Bay, on a good day. Within easy reach of the City Centre, beaches and the V&A Waterfront.
