Aurora is situated at the foot of the Piketberg and was established by one JP Kotze in 1906 on a portion of the farm Grootkloof donated to the church. The sleepy village offers the visitor the opportunity to completely relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, birdlife and seasonal wild flowers.
