The district benefits from its close proximity to the Cape Town International Airport and offers a range of accommodation options. Hotels, guest houses, self-catering units, lodges and bed and breakfast establishments are all on offer.
The area has a number of attractions including shopping malls such as the Canal Walk, Willowbridge Lifestyle Centre and Tygervalley Centre. There are also a fantastic collection of wine estates that are well signed along the Durbanville Wine Route.
